Job Description:

 

• Monitor assigned product lines to assure that Quality System is being followed.
• Maintain OE new product documentation and communication.
• Analyze and investigate failure mode and trends of original equipment customer concerns.
• Promote and coordinate countermeasures to eliminate the possibility of recurrence.
• Develop systems and procedures and facilitate quality training
• Lead problem solving teams and maintains change control.
• Aggressively pursue continuous improvement and error/mistake-proofing.
• Reduce process and product costs through Lean Manufacturing activities.
• Maintain effective communications with company and customer personnel.
• Lead problem solving teams and maintain change control

Job Requirements

Job Requirements

• BS degree or higher in Engineering, Chemistry or related field; Quality Engineer Certification is a plus.
• Prefer 2 years minimum quality engineering experience
• Prefer Quality Engineering experience in the automotive industry.
• Prefer experience with APQP, PPAP, Control Plans and FMEA.
• Must possess good problem solving skills using methodologies like 8D or 5-Why.
• Experience putting corrective actions in place.
• MUST have good organizational and people skills.
• Must have strong communication skills.
