Senior .NET Developer at Columbia

Job Description

DataStaff is currently seeking to fill a 12+ month contractor position for a Senior .Net Developer on a long-term project with one of our direct clients in Columbia, SC. The position may be extended based on budget, need, and individuals fit within the department. All applicants must be able to meet all background requirements.

 

This position is available on a corp-to-corp basis or as a W2 position with competitive benefits package. DataStaff offers medical, dental, and vision coverage options as well as paid vacation, sick, and holiday leave. As many of our projects are long-term, we also have a matching (4%) 401k program available for employees after 6 months. 

 

The ideal candidate will have previous experience within the public sector, preferably state/local government. 

Scope of the Project:

• To develop a Portal to accept applications for services based off of others states code and processes.
• To Develop a system to process applications and interface (data streaming) with legacy mainframe, Client server, and web applications.
•  To develop interfaces with external outreach programs    

This reseource will develop and modify VB/ASP.net and C# code that accesses a MS SQL 2008 Database
