This team is challenged daily to provide cutting edge technology solutions to our clients.Primary Duties & Responsibilities Are:
    Support SPAWAR Systems Center Atlantic and other stakeholders as an Engineer/Scientist in support of C4ISR projects. Provides engineering leadership in support of joint and service-level C4ISR system and mission requirements. Candidate will perform software integration and engineering as well as maintenance of existing Intelligence Systems. Candidate will troubleshoot hardware and software issues and provide appropriate support to identify and solve problems. Candidate should have a solid knowledge of the evaluation, installation, and customization of operating systems and patches, and innovate new solutions for deploying software and patches. Candidate will maintain Solaris, Linux, and Microsoft Windows-based systems, and maintain the system IAVA compliance and system security configurations. Candidate will perform research and design of complicated computer systems as needed, and author white papers on new technologies for insertion into program functions. Candidate will write scripts, programs, and other tools as needed to assist the program meet requirements. Candidate must be proficient within UNIX/LINUX operating systems.

Job Requirements

Minimum Skills; Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or closely related field, or comparable education and experience typically obtained by 5 or more years related work experience. Proven ability to research, troubleshoot, and configure software applications/systems. Be a self-starter who is accountable and requires minimal direction and supervision; a person who is open to new ideas; and a creative and flexible individual who is comfortable working in a large, dynamic, and complex organization. Possess the personal characteristics of professionalism, credibility, commitment to high standards, innovation, discriminating judgment and accountability. Possess the initiative to identify, communicate, and solve problems with a multitude of team members and government sponsors, as well as provide accurate input to plans and schedules. Possess DoD 8570 approved security certification (CISSP, Security+, GSEC) or must be certified within six months of employment.This position requires the candidate to be able to obtain a Secret security clearance. In order to obtain a clearance you need to be a U.S. Citizen and show proof of citizenship. Candidate selected will be subject to a Government background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.Desired Skils; Candidate must have developed communication skills and be able to express thoughts and ideas clearly and concisely in both verbal and written format. Candidate must be a team player, dedicated to program support, capable of multitasking and working several complex and diverse tasks with simultaneous or near simultaneous deadlines. Candidate must be well organized, reliable, conscientious, and be capable of managing resources and schedules to meet deadlines for multiple simultaneous projects. Experience with advanced Windows based systems administration/configuration/installation (registry editing, group policy, sysprep) Experience with VMware (ESX, ESXi, Workstation, VCenter, VSphere) Experience with scripting/programming (Powershell, AutoIT, Shell Scripting, C++, C#, C, Java, etc) Experience with scanning tools (Gold Disk, eEye Retina, Nessus) Experience with Storage Area Networks, and Network Attached Storage Experience with Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CallManager) is a plus
