Great opportunity!!! Well known Logistics company is seeking an experienced Import Coordinator. Salary: Up to $44,000 based on experienceJob Description: Reporting to the Import Manager, individuals for this position will be responsible for coordinating the import movement of cargo for shippers, including the distribution of documents and information related to the import function. Provide customer service to all clients, vendors, suppliers, agents and government agencies to facilitate the import objective while ensuring accurate import documentation Job Requirements: Knowledge of freight forwarding standards is required. 3+ years of experience in freight forwarding/logistics is required. Import/ Export experience a must. Knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel and excellent interpersonal skills required. Heavy phone and email requests Data EntryQuotes Booking shipments Maintaining a relationship at both the customer and carrier levels -Troubleshooting problem shipments Follow up on customer requests Use our online system to schedule pickups, identify potential problems, monitor deliveries General invoice questions Obtaining pods, and other carrier documents Calling carriers for etas on deliveries / pick ups Scheduling pickups Walk through for the online booking system Experience REQUIRED We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
