Production Operator at GREENVILLE

Growing pharmaceutical company in Greenville seeking qualified Operators to conduct equipment operations in the manufacturing of chemical intermediates and target compounds according to work orders, SOPs EHS, cGMP and FDA compliance.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Read and review assigned batch mixtures, asking questions to ensure understanding of batch to be mixed according to FDA, cGMP
• Operate all manufacturing systems including reactors, pumps, filters, dryers and instrumentation used on the production floor.
• Implement and maintain all equipment requests (pumps, filter, hoses, tanks, etc) and ensure all calibration is in standard per company guidelines.
• Assemble, pre-weigh and pre-measure all ingredients per production schedule.
• Perform mixing operation according to instructions and ensure accurate mixing of product paying close attention to potential contamination.
• Prepare proper labels with exact contents and batch number.
• Clean equipment and store when applicable.
• Log materials and supplies according to FDA regulations.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

HS diploma or GED equivalent. Incumbent must have prior chemical operator and manufacturing work experience with specific training in tank and equipment cleaning technologies preferably within a cGMP, FDA work environment. All candidates must successfully pass full criminal background checks, drug test and have excellent references.

Shift Hours: ALL. Must be available to work all week days and hours to vary due to production schedule demands.
