Requirements/Responsibilities:

  • Responsibilities include control system design for process and packaging equipment, control panel engineering, SCADA, PLC and HMI programming, and site start-up support.
  • Requires excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to be applied in design, programming, and troubleshooting of control systems as well as specific experience with Allen-Bradley family of PLCs and HMIs, control panel design, industrial communication networks such as ethernet, devicenet, and/or controlnet. Experience with Siemens PLCs, RSView32, Intellution iFix and/or VisualBasic is a plus.
  • The ability to simultaneously organize and successfully execute multiple project responsibilities is needed. Candidates must possess good communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to interact with all levels of management, clients, and vendors. Contractor management skills are also a plus.

Job Requirements

Electrical Engineer/Controls - GreenvilleEducation:

  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering is preferred, but consideration will be given to other engineering degrees based on actual experience.

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of electrical engineering with PLC automation applications.
  • Candidates with experience with pharmaceutical, consumer products and high speed environments are strongly preferred.

Travel:

  • 10% to 50% travel will be required to support installation and start-up activities, attend Client meetings, Design Group management meetings, and company sponsored training.
  • Our preference is local candidates but relocation assistance may be provided.
