Job Classification: Contract Overview:Our client is looking for a Mortgage Processor (Set Up and opening) in Columbia, SC. This position will be responsible for Mortgage loan processing from origination to closing by electronic documentation, pro-active scheduling and information gathering, and prompt, courteous customer service. Responsibilities:Documenting all loan activity.Requesting information from customers, appraisers, originators and other contributing persons as needed.Maintaining organized loan files.Provide responsive customer service to internal and external customers.Scheduling loan activity based on the type of loan and required deadlines.Adhering to related laws and internal policies.Must be familiar with Fannie Mae (FNMA). Looking for strong professional communication skills, detail oriented, previous processing and DU (desktop underwriter) exp., Need to work well under pressure and with tight deadlines. Need to be true Front Line Processors. If candidates dont have the DU experience, they need to know how to manually calculate income utilizing Fannie Mae rules. Join Aerotek Professional Services®.
