Job Description

Classification: Personnel/H.R. Mgr/Director/VP

Compensation: $42.75 to $49.50 per hour

Large Global manufacturing company has an immediate opening for a newly created Human Resources Director position. The position reports to the VP of Human Resources. This position will provide leadership, strategic direction and guidance for the planning and execution of the transformation efforts for the Human Resources Department. Duties include:The planning and management of HR Administration departmental day to day activities, provides technical assistance and business process leadershipManage the teams delivery of service and reporting on all SLAs for the Administration teamEnsure incoming employee calls are handled in an efficient manager and escalations are addressed in a timely fashionPartner with all customer groups to strategize, communicate and identify HR needs based on employee feedback for the group in order to provide a higher level of service and customer satisfaction in achieving an amazing employee experienceBachelors degree in human resources, business administration, or related field; Masters degree in business or HR a plus A minimum of 7 or more years of experience, including 5 or more years in a supervisory position and at least 2 years in a HR Administration, shared Services environmentProven experience in HR business process improvement and redesign, and operational management Information technology expertise, SAP and Workday preferred Experience in a unionized environment is highly preferred
