SUPPLY ROOM / MAINTENANCE SERVICES TECHNICIAN

MISSION
The Supply Room/Maintenance Services Technician is responsible to assist Maintenance Supervisor in maintaining CMMS system. This position will work with Maintenance to develop and manage PM
and Corrective Work Order System and will also assist MRO Buyer with Purchasing activities for non-production materials and services and manage daily activities of stockroom. Issue, receive and store products.

ACTIVITIES
Generate PM and Corrective Work Orders as Required
Ensure all parts and components are on site for all scheduled Work Orders
Assist MRO Buyer in the management of non-production suppliers
Assist MRO Buyer in sourcing purchased indirect materials, indirect services, and capital expenditures
To support plant goals (cost quality, delivery, etc.)To help optimize the supply base
Assist Plant Buyer in the management and resolution of supplier issues (cost, quality, delivery, etc.)
To drive cost reductions / productivity
To place purchase orders for non-production requirements
Issue, and receive parts
Cycle counts

Job Requirements

PROFILE
High School Diploma or GED Required. Post High School study in relevant field a plus.
Must have thorough understanding of and ability to work proficiently in MS Office tools
Must possess a strong self-direct initiative
Position requires the ability to multi-task several priorities simultaneously
Must have a high level of organization skill
Proven ability to work in a team environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must successfully complete all required training
Must comply with all work rules, policies and procedures
Must comply with all safety rules and regulations
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
Requires working under high temperature conditions periodically
Previous Purchasing and Stockroom experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
