Wyndham Vacation Ownership is currently seeking a HR Compliance Analyst who will be responsible for identifying, gathering, and analyzing key data associated with wage and hour compliance and additional compliance areas as designated. It shall also be responsible for making recommendations for policy and process improvements. Success in this position is dependent on strong analytical, report generation and computer skills; strong verbal and written communication skills; design and implementation of training as necessary; performance of gap and trend analyses; building of strong relationships with business partners while maintaining objectivity.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Perform audit of processes
  • Communicate results and reommendations on corrections for errors in entires or process, changes to system and consequences/corrective actions for associates
  • Generate meaningful reports
  • Data mine
  • Create policy and procedure documents
  • Develop audit plans and assess compliance
  • Perform other duties as needed

Job Requirements

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications:

Education

  • College degree preferred

Knowledge and Skills

  • Demonstrated ability to research and identify root cause
  • Ability to develop approach to solutions, communicate clearly with and influence stakeholders
  • Ability to assess the needs of the customer (business units) and understand the vision and growth strategy of the larger organization
  • Demonstrated ability to mine data and business requirements; incorporate them into policy and procedure documents; develop audit plans to assess compliance; perform audit of processes and generate meaningful reports
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and produce quality deliverables in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work collaboratively with Payroll, Legal, Audit, and other business teams as needed
  • Ability to assist with internal and external audits and investigations as necessary
  • Proven analytical skills
  • Demonstrated strong written and oral communication skills, excellent attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines and to be able to work under pressure
  • Strong organizational skills

Technical Skills

Proficiency with:

  • Federal, State and Local Laws, including Wage, Hour, Leave and other time and attendance laws and regulations
  • Knowledge of Company policies
  • A variety of software systems; Kronos preferred
  • MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)

Job Experience

  • 3-5 years experience with analysis and auditing preferred
  • Timekeeping systems experience preferred
