We are seeking a Dedicated Fleet Manager to be located in Duluth, Georgia.

Job Summary:
Drive Supply Chain programs in Dedicated Transportation (inbound to Recycle Centers, Outbound from Recycle Centers, inbound to Mills, Outbound from Mills to Customers and Outbound from Plants to Customers). Manage and optimized Dedicated Fleet utilization throughout the Corrugated Packaging and Recycling Division. Implement and leverage the use of Dedicated Fleets to drive low cost transportation and on-time delivery throughout the Supply Chain. Work with Freight Procurement on Dedicated Core Carrier programs. Align the Supply Chain programs with Recycle, Mill and Box Plants strategies. Jointly develop solutions and assist with the implementation of cost saving and service improvement programs that optimize round trips and reduce empty miles. These programs may overlap with other Supply Chain initiatives. Seek clarification from Director as need to avoid redundancy. Use KPIs to monitor and report progress on weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.
General Responsibilities:
On an annual basis, 2 months prior to calendar year, identify and document all cost savings and service improvements at each plant in each business unit within region.
Within one month prior to calendar year, establish targeted savings and timing of capture at plant level and ensure linkage to budget.
Establish key Fleet operational metrics and regional priorities linked to above. Facilitate kick off meeting with business units or Recycle Plants, Mills, Box Plants to ensure all are aware of targets and priories.
Monitor progress of Dedicated Transport Suppliers key performance indicators (KPIs) actual vs. target.
Meet with business unit/Mill/Recycle Group on a scheduled basis. Review Dedicated Carrier performance compared to operating KPIs. Review Dedicated carrier equipment type, utilization and loading procedures with Area Logistics Managers on monthly basis. Submit monthly reports that track progress vs targets using standardized format.
Work with respective RLM on a monthly basis - Identify and document opportunities to maximize and leverage Dedicated Fleet through continuous moves that reduce empty miles, and driver reduced freight cost and improved on-time delivery.
As needed, help facilitate and/or conduct routine meetings with the Dedicated core carriers.
Experience/Educational Requirements:
Bachelors Degree, preferably in Business, Transportation or Logistics, with at least 7+ years of broad transportation management experience or equivalent
