Interplace, Inc. is looking for a Quality Assurance Manager to work for a global automotive parts manufacturer of Rubber & Plasitcs Parts in the nearby city of Greenville, SC.

The ideal candidate would speak some Japanese or be familiar with Japanese business culture.

JOB DUTIES:

• Make sure quality systems are carried out and improved - especially in New Product Review (NPR) and supplier quality

• Continual Improvement" processes for mass production

• Apply the quality system for these Processes

• Bring pro-active alternatives & solutions – work as a role model of staff members

• Problem-Solving

• Maximize productivity, safety, and quality achieved plant wide

• Maintain communication with customers in a timely and proactive manner

Job Requirements

 

• Min. 3 years of experience in QA management role in the manufacturing industry

• Experience with and knowledge of "TS16949" a MUST!

• Experience with PLASTIC or RUBBER products would be a great plus!

• Japanese language skills preferred but not required

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

• Excellent computer skills (MS Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)

• Strong communications skills; ability to work cross functionally and with geographically distributed teams
