Junior Accounting Analyst at Columbia

Job Description Recruiting Solutions is currently seeking a Junior Accounting Analyst for a growing company in downtown Columbia, SC. The position will be responsible for various audit support engagements, these responsibilities include:

• Data analysis and test comprehension
• Understanding of accounting/auditing concepts
• Understanding client general ledger systems
• Validating data format
• Writing scripts in data analysis programs

Job Requirements

• Four year degree with a concentration in Accounting or Finance preferred; or
• Two year degree with related experience
• Prior accounting/auditing experience preferred
• Highly proficient in MS Access and MS Excel
• Knowledge of ACL and Monarch preferred
• Must be able to resolve data logic issues and modify data analysis techniques as appropriate
