SOFTWARE/SYSTEM TEST ENGINEER at Charleston

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

Engility is seeking a full-time software/system tester for the Joint Tactical Common Operational Picture Workstation (JTCW) project office working at Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR) Atlantic (SSC-LANT) located in North Charleston, South Carolina.

The Test Engineerwill be responsible for testing support to the JTCW project office located at SSC-LANT located in North Charleston, South Carolina. Candidate will act as member of the JTCW test team. This team is responsible for the validation of baseline functionality of the JTCW system core and sub-components as well as the capability to support the required Department of Defense (DoD) mission applications for GCCS Training and Education (T&E) efforts.

The Test Engineer will execute software testing in accordance with test plan;capture test results using customer-provided testing documentation & database & function in team environment in customer test lab.

Job Requirements

MINIMUM TANGIBLE QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors Degree and at least aminimum of 4 years of experience with undergraduate degree in a related field or 8 years working experience is required with a Level II IA Workforce Improvement (IAWF) certification.

• 4 years C2PC, JTCW, GCCS experience as tester, integrator or system administrator.

• Operating System experience/ certification is Microsoft Windows.
• A working knowledge of functional testing procedures, Independent Verification & Validation (IV&V) process, creating test procedures from identified requirements is desired.
• This position will require access to classified information.
• Travel may be required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Windows 7 desired.
• Familiarity with JTCW platform and associated applications a plus as are organizational tester certifications.
