Human Resources Coordinator at Bluffton

Job Description

Job Objectives:
The HR Coordinator is responsible for accurately processing documents and correspondence, utilizing professional communication skills, maintaining files and databases, updating CareCore National materials, and other duties as delegated by the Director, Talent Acquisitionand Senior Vice President of Human Resources.

Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to): Technical/Clerical

1. Complete pre-employment processing as delineated in the Pre-employment Checklist, to include all applicable background checks, drug screens, organization of orientation packets, and other duties associated with the process.

2. Provide support as needed for data entry into the companys employee information system (currently ADP).

3. Support the recruiting and staffing process by printing and distributing applicant resumes, entering applicant information into the departments tracking system, and updating the system as necessary. Correspond with applicants concerning the status of their applications.

4. Schedule phone screens and interviews for exempt positions; serve as backup for scheduling phone screens for nonexempt positions.

5. Maintain personnel files by completing filing and supporting file audits as necessary

6. Work with Human Resources staff to maintain accurate, current organization charts.

7. Assist Human Resources staff in correspondence and file maintenance regarding employee leave under the Family and Medical Leave Act.

8. Complete Employment Verification forms as submitted to support employee loans, apartment rentals, etc.

9. Provide support for other administrative tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements

Minimum Requirements:
A two-year Associates Degree and/or equivalent work experience is required.
Strong initiative, attention to detail and organizational skills in addition to excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Ability to prioritize and to change priorities as the need arises
Strong problem-solving skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a very fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Good judgment and discretion in maintaining confidentiality regarding personnel and business matters.
