Job Description
JOB SUMMARY IT Security Analyst reports to the Information Security and Risk manager and is responsible for participating in and maintaining select operational processes to verify IT related security controls.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Facilitating access control requests and identification of access needs to prepare for approvals.
- Provide regular internal network penetration testing and rouge wireless network device identification/removal to adhere with ongoing PCI requirements.
- Provide research and expert technical input to the review of technical standards and controls.
- Act as a technical security resource to assist IT teams in maintaining and improving security within operational infrastructure and processes.
- Assist in the review of implemented controls within operational processes to support the Information Security Program as well as company audit activity.
- Otherwise provide support for the IT Information Security Program and other IT Control processes.

Job Requirements
JOB REQUIREMENTS Equivalent Education Level Required: B.S. in Computer Science preferred. Standard security certification, such as Security + or CISSP is preferred.Experience Required: 2-3 years of Technical Security related experience.
Knowledge Required: Understanding of Cisco equipment and network security tools, understanding of role based access control (RBAC) methodology, understanding of basic operating systems and infrastructure security controls, and the ability to produce clear and concise documentation, ability to produce risk mitigation plans for technical vulnerabilities.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry at least 50 pounds.
