Florence Nursing Services is a private, locally owned nurse staffing agency who has been providing services in South Carolina for 27 years. We have Branch offices located in Greenville, Columbia, Florence and Newberry, SCFlorence Nursing Services is growing! We are currently looking to add an experienced candidate for the role of Staffing Coordinator at our branch offices in Columbia and Greenville, SC.
The qualified candidate should be outgoing, energetic, and motivated with a strong background in the healthcare sector.
The Healthcare Staffing Coordinator must gather nursing professional applications, credentials, materials, and then interview and place on the registry for various clinical employers. Accordingly, the Staffing Coordinator must communicate with hospital/clinic and facility department heads to understand the staffing needs and pro-actively support those needs, coordinate with other staffers and recruiters on day –to-day operations. Reviewing daily schedules and filling in for inadequate coverage is a part of daily duties. The Coordinator must recruit on existing, inactive and new healthcare professional recruitment daily.
As a Staffing Coordinator, Florence Nursing Services will depend on you to be an important link between our nursing professionals and clients. Through extensive phone contact, a variety of administrative duties, problem solving and data input, you will help great people find great jobs. Your main focus will be taking client orders, obtaining nurses availability and matching/scheduling nurses to open orders.
The coordinator must have experience using telephones with multiple lines, multi-task on several calls and maintain professionalism and patience with a fast passed environment and have proficient computer skills as the staffing assignments are processed electronically. Position will included working in the office and some night and weekend call from home.

Job Requirements
One year of hospital/healthcare agency staffing experience desirable.
Medical Terminology and good communication skills are a must.
Proficient knowledge and practical application of MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook including demonstrating proficiency in internet usage and navigation.
Excellent communications, both written and verbal.
Great Customer Service and pleasant phone mannerisms while being personable.
Must demonstrate the excellent ability to communicate and interact with all levels of licensed/certified medical professionals and hospital clients in securing qualified staff
.
Staffing Coordinator must have a strong work ethic, high personal standards and be a great multi-taker.
