Financial Analyst at Hopkins

Job Description

Support routine Finance activities including monthly close, forecasting, budget analysis, etc.

1. Serve as primary interface for specific business unit in planning, analyzing and reporting financial results. Serve as support resource for other business unit for similar responsibilities.
2. Work closely with all levels of management to ensure integrity in financial planning function.
3. Work closely with strategic management to continuously improve value of business performance reporting.
4. Develop and monitor cost improvement identification and tracking mechanisms.
5. Prepare and/or review business unit financial plans, financial forecasts, and periodic updates, including capital and reinvestment planning and analysis.
6. Prepare, support and/or deliver presentations on business unit financial analysis.

Requirements
1. Bachelor???s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent. MBA and/or CPA is desirable.
2. Minimum 3, typically 4-7 years of accounting/finance experience, with at least 2 years experience in financial planning or auditing.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications with advanced PowerPoint and Excel abilities. Experience with ERP systems; SAP financials strongly preferred
