Job Description

The Haven in the Summit, a 60 bed Specialty Care Assisted Living Facility serving primarily residents with dementia, located in Columbia, SC, is seeking a dynamic and compassionate LVN to serve as our Resident Services Director.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Providing direct resident care/services and medication management when indicated
• Completing and maintaining individualized accurate health assessments and updated service plans for each resident
• Participating in the development of policies and procedures
• Ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations
• Recruiting and selecting Resident Services employees
• Meeting with Resident Services personnel on a regular basis to review, evaluate and document their performance
• Formulating and administering a departmental budget based on Resident Services Department goals and corporate parameters

Job Requirements

• 4 year degree from an accredited School of Nursing
• Must be an LPN
• 2-3 years prior management experience in an Assisted Living environment
• Ability to coordinate/manage staffing needs
• Good understanding of State regulations as they apply to assisted living facilities.
