Job Description

Located in the heart of the Low Country, Colleton Medical Center is centrally situated in Walterboro, South Carolina; only a short drive from historic Charleston, the beautiful beaches of Edisto or scenic Savannah.

Colleton Medical Center is a 135 bed facility providing comprehensive Radiology Services including MRI, CT, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, Mammography, Special Procedures and Diagnostic Radiology.

The Director is responsible for the complete oversight of the department, including supervision of employees to ensure excellent service while complying with Federal, State, and Joint Commission requirements. Develops budgets and manages department within budgetary constraints. Responsible for implementation of the Quality Plan within the department and assuring participation of appropriate personnel. Also responsible for setting expectations, developing indicators, and providing oversight for all quality activities.

Job Requirements

Position Requirements:

a. Licensure/Certification/Registration: ARRT, SCQRSA, American Heart Association BLS-Healthcare Provider

b. Education: Graduate of a school of Radiology Technology and registered with the ARRT.

c. Experience: Must know all processes and techniques needed for obtaining radiographs of a variety of procedures and with a variety of equipment. Must possess a thorough knowledge of procedures, techniques and functions of each area of the department. Must have progressive experience as an Assistant Manager in a large facility or as a Manager in a large facility.
