Human Resources Coordinator (Commercial Aircraft) – We seek a Human Resources Coordinator for a position within the Aerospace Industry in the Charleston, SC area.
This is a long-term (12+ month contract) opportunity.
Pay rate up to $21.67/hour, FIRM.
The Attendance Management Specialist will serve as the primary point of contact for first line managers and HR Generalists on attendance related issues. This role will increase the capacity for first line managers and HR Generalists to allow them to focus more on production and partnering. They will receive attendance issues and assesses, investigate, resolve, and provide metrics. Conduct audits to proactively identify, resolve, or prevent attendance-related issues. The specialist coaches managers and employees as needed, pertaining to attendance policies, the investigative process, and the overall business impact of unplanned labor loss. Positively impacts labor loss and adherence to attendance policy through consistent communication of employee expectations and accountability. Utilizes Boeing HR systems to track and investigate attendance issues. Understand and apply relevant sections Boeing Company procedures, BSC site Attendance Guidelines, and Drug Free Workplace. Build effective working relationships with other functions including Leave Management, Global Diversity & Employee Relations (ECA, ADR), Employee Relations, and others, as needed to assist with the investigation process. Improve efficiency and cycle time of the investigation and corrective action process. Highlight concerns and partners with manager to determine best course of action. Prepare and deliver training material as needed. Bachelor of Science preferred. Experience coaching managers and employees. Ability to analyze current and historical data from multiple sources for trend analysis. Demonstrated expertise managing spreadsheets; i.e. pivot tables, graphs, etc. Experience with HR policies and procedures interpretation.
