Job Description
Eaton Corporations Commercial Distribution Products and Assemblies Division (CDPA) has an opening for a Lead Financial Analyst Business Process Owner (BPO) for an upcoming SAP/ERP project implementation. The position will be physically located in the Sumter, SC Panelboards and Switchboards Headquarters, and will support multiple locations throughout CDPA.The Lead Financial Analyst BPO for the ERP project is responsible for coordination and oversight of financial reporting systems improvements for CDPA. The incumbent will lead collaboration efforts between stakeholders in the Divisions finance teams to ensure process accuracy and responsiveness in Financial Reporting, Controlling,Fixed Assets,Treasury,Shared Services,Audit,Credit and Dispute, as well as Accounts Receiving. The ultimate goal of the business process owner for finance is to drive functional excellence by developing and improving financial reporting mechanisms.
Essential functions include but are not limited to:
Coordinate and support the monthly closing and rolling forecast processes.
Assist in development of annual profit plan. Coordinate requirements with key players.
Analyze operational and financial data, investigate variances, identify business drivers, and evaluate their impact on planned objectives.
Prepare and communicate insightful analysis for monthly reviews. Organize and deliver appropriate management reports for senior leadership
Perform journal entries and account reconciliations
Work in a team environment to drive improvement in financial processes through tools/systems, automation and standardization.

Job Requirements
Basic Qualifications:Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business from an accredited institution
Minimum of 3 years accounting/financial analysis experience
Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
Master Degree in Business Administration from an accredited institution
Knowledge of the Khalix software and programming language as well as the custom applications that have been designed specifically for Eatons Electrical Sector.
Knowledge of Eaton analytical reporting and analysis.
Knowledge of Eatons other financial systems, such as SAP, Oracle GL, EDW, Hyperion.
Previous manufacturing accounting/finance experience
Previous acquisition experience
Previous experience working with cross functional teams
Previous experience leading an SAP implementation

Solid knowledge of accounting and finance principles and be able to consistently apply that knowledge.
