Job Summary:

We are currently seeking for Materials Industrialization Engineers. The Materials Industrialization Engineer optimizes, evolves, and maintains technical specifications and industrial process set-up for all assigned rubber formulations and provides technical assistance to both plant and central groups on issues related to material properties, processing and quality.
Responsibilities:
- Development and industrialization of rubber compounds respecting technical specifications and industrial constraints.
- Leads material projects, facilitating risk analyses, and presenting milestones to the steering committee.
- Negotiates the material specifications with material designers and tire designers and developers.
- Responsible for project planning and execution.
- Provides technical assistance to manufacturing facilities as they industrialize new technology. Monitors and evaluates statistical indicators to ensure architectural integrity and overall tire performance and quality.
- Acts as the plant liaison to central technical groups on issues related to the uncured and cured tire model. Advises and assists central support designers on manufacturing, processing, plant standardization, and cost issues.
- Introduces new tire models into production, and supports regular production re-starts on a 24 / 7 basis, as needed.
- Responsible for data collection, analysis and decisions.
- Drafts and updates technical documents in his/her area.
- Assists in plant activities to resolve problems, improve productivity and reduce cost.
- Monitors and evaluates statistical indicators to ensure material quality.

Qualifications
Requirements:
- BS Degree in Chemistry, Chemical, Mechanical, Material Science Engineering or related technical degree.
- 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with Quality/Process or similar type of experience.
