This consultative role will engage in the analysis, development, specification and communication of the on-going design patterns practicewithin our Enterprise Engineering Services area, which is part of UHG IT. Job Requirements

Requirements:Minimum of8 years experience as an IT Technology Architect or as a Sr. Level DeveloperMinimum of4 years overall experience as an IT Technology Architect creating applications and infrastructure technologiesMinimum of 4 years of software development in any of the following: Java, .NET, Python, Ruby, PHPStrong working knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture topics and techniquesExperience and understanding of SaaS/Cloud related technologies (need to understand security implications, multi tenancy models, metering, data segmentation)Bachelors degree or equivalent experienceAssets:Previous Healthcare industry experienceBroad exposure to web based technologies and distributed architecturesAbility and/or previous experience to work with matrixed teams Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or related fieldUnitedHealth Group is working to create the health care system of tomorrow.
