Job Classification: Direct Hire Aerotek Inc. has partnered with the SC division of a global industrial manufacturing company who is in immediate need of a Manufacturing Engineer with extensive process improvement experience in a manufacturing facility. The opportunity is a direct hire position with full benefits and potential relocation assistance near Columbia, SC.This person will need to be a true problem solver with determination and a hands on approach to their role*Responsibilities of the Manufacturing Engineer include:-Partner with product designers, materials management, supplier quality, supply chain, and operations to deliver and execute manufacturing solutions for new and existing products.-Implement engineering changes into manufacturing, avoiding efficiency loss, non-conforming product, and inventory obsolescence wherever possible.-Identify issues with engineering changes and provide a resolution to ensure data integrity.-Participate in all activities associated with establishing the creation of project configuration throughout the lifecycle of the project.-Provide support to insure the successful integration of all projects into the ERP portal and Team Center portal. Support will include identification, generation, submission, releasing and documentation of engineering changes using the appropriate portal. -Support the updating of configuration bills of material (BOM), revising the appropriate bill of material and uploading the changes to the appropriate portal. -Create and update routings to reflect manufacturing methods. -Create rework documentation ALL CANDIDATES MUST HAVE A BACHELORS DEGREE IN ENGINEERING
