This position must reside in the following territory, preferrably close to major transportation: MichiganThis role is the primary contact to all Passenger and Light Truck customers in an assigned territory for Continental. The main purpose is to provide customer support through effective communication, training, and selling of our products, programs and promotions to meet budgeted sales objectives.Primary Responsibilities:Achieve assigned sales targets in Units and MOS per assigned region and accountsoCall on customers Distributors, GOLD dealers, and Car dealersoConduct face to face meetings to grow and maintain accountsoOutline our products, programs, and promotions to grow salesoAct as a consultant to all customers determining customer needs and providing solutions oInitiate quick, reliable, and effective communications to customers providing all updates and potential solutionsoNew Business development with a concentration on low market share areas in coordination with Dealer Development Manager Call on retail locations as the manufacturers representative oWork with distributors on existing GOLD and Car dealers to train on our products, programs, and promotions to grow salesoCall on Car dealers to train on our products, programs, and promotions to grow salesoCall on and qualify potential GOLD dealersoPromote CTNA replacement product lines and original equipment fitments Maintain internal communication and feedbackoComplete call reports oForecast accounts weeklyoWork with the Inside sales team on necessary support processes. oWork with Key Account Managers to provide customer / market feedbackRequires:2 to 5 years direct customer sales experienceBachelors Degree. Strong Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint) is requiredMust have the following core requirements:oExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsoExtensive problem solving abilities, oCustomer service orientation, oGood organizational, planning and time management skills a must.Additional Desired Skills:Masters Degree is preferred, specifically in a business related course.Tire industry or OEM (Ford, GM) sales experienceProject Management Experienceess related course.Tire industry or OEM (Ford, GM) sales experienceProject Management Experience
