Aircraft Mechanic at Mount Pleasant

Job Description

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Provide technical support to field engineers, technicians and product support who are diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing and debugging complex electro/mechanical equipment, computer systems, and/or complex software not related to information technology.
-Installs, operates, maintains, repairs and modifies equipment. Normally receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new projects or assignments. Work is reviewed for soundness of judgment and overall adequacy and accuracy.
-Perform vendor assists for pilot controls equipment on the 787
-Troubleshoots technical problems and issues, determines technical solution in accordance with product and customer specifications, and recommends actions to company or customer representatives for coordinative product solution.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED:
-6 years of aircraft maintenance/support
-A&P license
-Working knowledge of avionics, displays, and pilot controls equipment
-Ability to receive production quality stamp and sign off work completed on aircraft
