Experienced Mechanical Assembler at Rock Hill

Aerotek is currently hiring electrical-mechanical assemblers for manufacturing company in the Rock Hill, SC area. Desired candidates will have both mechanical and electrical aptitude. Assemblers will be responsible for building complex units, assembling manufacturing equipment, operating hand and power tools, following wiring diagrams and completing point to point wiring. The equipment being assembled ranges in size so must be comfortable with sub-assembly, large assembly and heavy lifting. Must be able to use hand and power tools on this type of equipment. Candidates who have experience assembling/repairing automotive equipment would be helpful. Monday-Friday..OT required on weekends1st shift: 7am-4pm with OT required as needed$11-$12per hour Contract to Hire through AerotekMust be willing to submit to drug and background checksMust have high school diploma or GEDMust have previous experience doing mechanical and electrical assembly in a manufacturing environmentAssemblers will be moved to and from various lines so must be flexible in changing job duties. Some lines have heavier assembly than others so must be comfortable with that.
