In 1990 Dan Ryan began building contemporary, well-constructed and affordable homes. Based in Frederick, MD the company is now building homes in MD, WV, PA, SC, VA and NC.

Dan Ryan Builders is currently recruiting for a Purchasing Manager to help grow the Purchasing Department of its Charleston, SC Division office. 

This position may have responsibility for:

* Reviewing new homes sales contracts and construction estimates
* Determining material and labor needs
* Maintaining construction budgets and ensuring compliance
* Managing and selecting construction contractors, vendors and suppliers while also negotiating for
  the best rates
* Monitoring construction material returns
* Producing estimates and initial pricing of homes in new communities

Ideal candidates will have strong multi-tasking skills and be willing to accept new challenges and responsibilties as this division continues to grow.

 

 

 

Job Requirements

This position requires a 4 year degree with emphasis on Residential Home building and/or 5-7 years of equivalent experience in purchasing/estimating. Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and know one or more industry specific estimating/costing systems.
