Job Description
The Program Director of Inpatient Rehabilitation is responsible for the ongoing, effective operation of the Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility. This Director is also responsible for Therapy Services in Acute Care and Outpatient Therapy.
Responsible for ongoing assessment and improvement of Inpatient Rehab and Therapy Services. This responsibility encompasses the internal operations of both departments while also integrating them into the overall function of the organization. Leads performance improvement and program development activities. Provides input on the annual budget process; manages cost effectiveness of services provided by the department; addresses employees observations and suggestions related to opportunities for improvement; and maintains positive relations with all customers. Promotes a collaborative relationship among nursing, medical staff, and support services
Job Requirements
Education: - B.S. or M.S. degree in Physical, Speech,Occupational Therapy or Nursing.
Experience: At least 3 years of progressive management experience in healthcare or a masters degree in healthcare or business administration. Previous Inpatient Rehab Facility (IRF) management experience strongly preferred.
Licenses/Certificates: - Licensed as a Physical Therapist, Speech and Language Pathologist, Occupational Therapist or Registered Nurse in the State of South Carolina.Job: Rehabilitation, Inpatient
