OEM Business Development Manager at Rock Hill

Job Description

Were seeking an OEM Business Development Manager for our growing organization! Specific location is not required, ability to travel around the country is a must. This is an ideal opportunity for a highly-motivated and energetic individual to become part of a fast growing organization in the piped gas industry.

Mission

Reporting to the President of BeaconMedaes the job of the OEM Business Development Managers mission is to further develop and grow our business with OEM customers and key accounts, by providing an efficient and professional marketing and sales support service to both internal and external customers. Major role will be to develop our business in areas where we are not yet at desired level by developing and implementing appropriate marketing actions and introduce our products and services to potential new customers.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain our relationships with existing OEM customers and key accounts
  • Explore and identify new opportunities for our products and services within OEM markets
  • Closely work with the Sales Manager and the Marketing Team to further develop business plans and implement marketing actions to grow our OEM business
  • Work with the Engineering Team of the Product Companies (in both Rock Hill and Belgium) and introduce our OEM offering to the field.
  • Together with the Engineering Department you convert customer requirements and market demands into master specifications
  • Prepare and follow up of quotations of new projects
  • Interface with local sales team (direct and manufacturers reps) in getting information from specific projects in the field
  • Work with the OEM customers to prepare and present technical solutions to meet their requirements

Experience Requirements & Skills

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Experience in the field of Medical Gas
  • Sales/Marketing experience required

Knowledge

  • Knowledge of Medical Gas codes and standards
  • Complete knowledge of MS Office Products
  • Experience with Lotus Notes preferred

Educational Requirements

  • The successful candidate should preferably have an engineering degree and / or several years of relevant sales and marketing experience in Piped Medical Gas

Personality Requirements

  • Self-sufficient and result orientated
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Capability to work in a multi discipline team in order to provide the highest level of customer service
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision

  • No specific location required

Additional Information

  • Frequent travel is required throughout the country for customer visits, etc.
