Oaktree Medical Centre, P.C., primarily located in Upstate South Carolina, is a leader in innovative and effective pain management interventions with its primary focus on exceptional patient care. We are currently seeking a Medical Marketing Director to help us in our business growth.
Position Summary
The Medical Marketing Director develops a relationship with external physicians, while at the same time increases awareness of our companys pain management options for patient referrals. Provides market data to leadership on potential markets for growth.
Essential Duties and Job Responsibilities
- Generate referral leads from physicians by telephone and walk-in inquiries.
- Develops relationship with referral sources with good follow-up techniques.
- Documents all necessary information in an accurate and timely manner.
- Prepares and develops market strategy and maintains an up-to-date list of physicians for pain management referrals.
- Liaise between management and referral physicians.
- Responsible for bringing in new business into the practice.
- Works with other sales and marketing personnel to deliver exceptional brand recognition and understanding for potential referral physicians.
- Leads brainstorm sessions to generate ideas for new business.
- Seek opportunities to up sell and cross-sell within the account to generate additional revenue.
- Evaluate process effectiveness and impact in the markets and drive continuous improvement.
- May perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills)
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with a focus on quality

- Excellent computer skills, including MS Office.
- Knowledge about the pharmaceutical and/or health care industry
- Ability to solve problems and exhibit good judgment with clients, vendors and internal staff
- Capacity to think analytically and make recommendations based on findings
- Ability to work effectively with others at all levels of the organization
- Proven ability to manage resources and lead projects and people as necessary
- Good customer service skills. Meets and greets well.
- Enthusiastic, motivated attitude.
- Strong work ethic and high level of professionalism.
- Working knowledge of anatomy, physiology and medical terminology.
- Ideal candidate is a former pharmaceutical drug representative with at least 3-5 years of experience in the field.
