Job Description

TOOL REPAIR MECHANIC, FLORENCE, SC 
PAY RATE:  $12.00 per hour
DESCRIPTION
Tool Technician provides troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs for tools the are used by Field Techs.  The repairs will take place at the Manufacturing Center in Florence , NOT in the Field.
Tools include:Chain falls, drum hoists, false cars, fit kits and other miscellaneous tools.
REQUIREMENTS

• Required minimum 5 years job related experience

• Must have basic mechanical aptitude.

• Must be able to read, interpret and work from drawings and instructions to insure compliance with all State and Federal regulations such as the National Electric Code, OSHA, local construction codes, and all safety procedures.

• Must be comfortable communicating verbally and working with a positive attitude in a team environment.

• Applicant must be able to read, write and communicate in English.

• Applicant must be able to work in a team and manufacturing environment.

• Lifting requirement: 50 lbs or less.

• Possible OT of up to 5 hrs per week.

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Technical School Degree preferred

Note
Candidates will be given skills tests for mechanical and electrical aptitude.
