This team is challenged daily to provide cutting edge technology solutions to our clients.Primary Duties & Responsibilities Are:Support SPAWAR Systems Center Atlantic and other stakeholders as an Engineer/Scientist in support of C4ISR projects. Provides testing leadership in support of joint and service-level C4ISR system and mission requirements of the Tactical Radio Manager.Will perform functional analysis, testing, and aide in the system design and development of C4I software applications and subsequent deployment to the Marine Corps. Individual must have in-depth operational expertise in command control applications such as: Command and Control Personal Computer (C2PC), EPLRS, Global Command and Control System, situational awareness, mission planning, fire/weapons control, integrated imagery and intelligence products/applications. The candidate will be able to simulate real world scenarios with above applications in an end to end functional test environment. Candidate must be a subject matter expert (SME) with the applications identified above. Previous military experience working with various radios is highly desired. Candidate should have a solid knowledge of the evaluation, installation, and customization of operating systems and patches, and innovate new solutions for deploying software and patches.Scientific Research Corporation offers a competitive salary, an extensive benefits package and a work environment that encourages excellence. Minimum: Must have knowledge of and experience working with the EPLRS and ENM systems. Must have extensive knowledge and experience in technical disciplines and be able to execute fundamental analytical skills. Must have advanced computer proficiency. Proven ability to research, troubleshoot, and configure software applications/systems. Be a self-starter who is accountable and requires minimal direction and supervision; a person who is open to new ideas; and a creative and flexible individual who is comfortable working in a large, dynamic, and complex organization. Possess the personal characteristics of professionalism, credibility, commitment to high standards, innovation, discriminating judgment and accountability. Possess the initiative to identify, communicate, and solve problems with a multitude of team members and government sponsors, as well as provide accurate input to plans and schedules. Possess DoD 8570 approved security certification (CISSP, Security+, GSEC) or must be certified within six months of employment.This position requires the candidate to be able to obtain a Secret security clearance. In order to obtain a clearance you need to be a U.S. Citizen and show proof of citizenship. Candidate selected will be subject to a Government background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.Desired Candidate must have developed communication skills and be able to express thoughts and ideas clearly and concisely in both verbal and written format. Candidate must be a team player, dedicated to program support, capable of multitasking and working several complex and diverse tasks with simultaneous or near simultaneous deadlines.
