TM Floyd & Company is hiring a Senior Business Systems Analyst to create and review people-related data, including HR, compensation, and employee performance data as well as create processes and move them into action. The Business Systems Analyst will also be responsible for:

• Researching industry trends and identifying patterns
  
• Developing and implementing processes and creating executive summaries
  
• Defining customer needs in technical and business contexts
  
• Ensuring the proposed technical and business solutions meet the customers objectives
  
• Providing guidance with planning and prioritizing business analysis activities in support of large, high-visibility projects
  
• Providing guidance for less experienced staff members to ensure they remain on target for meeting customer requirements

Job Requirements

• Bachelors degree in computer science or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• 8 years of IT business analysis experience in healthcare, insurance, or a related field
• Strong Business Intelligence (BI) experience including data analysis, table relationships, understanding of relational databases, and report creation and presentation
• Use of BI tools such as Cognos, Crystal Reports, Business Objects, MicroStrategy, SAS, and SQL Server
• Ability to pull data from multiple sources to create meaningful data
• Advanced MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Access skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences, including the ability to express complex technical and business concepts to all management levels, peers, and business units
• Ability to read and comment on test plans and test matrices, project plans, and scope and design documents
