Press Manager
This position is responsible for managing the day to day operations of the press department. The responsibilities include: reporting daily production and updating schedules & manpower based on production needs and inventory levels, managing personnel needs, leading in continuous improvement efforts based on Key Performance Indicators (KPI) data, interfacing with the other department leaders to insure proper support is maintained for the press room managing the departmental costs to keep on or below budget, conducting and managing performance evaluation of hourly employees twice per year. Candidates must hold a Bachelor Degree (Engineering preferred) and 4+ years automotive supervisory experience required - OR - Technical Certificate, plus 10+ years automotive supervisory experience required. Additional experience preferred: a minimum (5) years of experience in Manufacturing, Automotive industry, leadership experience, Class A parts, Rework experience, product launch experience & metallurgy experience (ultrasonic testing, tensile testing, oil coating, metal coating, roughness testing, circle grid analysis, lab workplace).
