MARKETING COORDINATOR Graphic Design
Job Overview:
This position offers an opportunity to design, develop and deliver graphic products for a major construction firm. Working in the Sumter, SC area, the designer who joins our organization will have the opportunity to play an integral role on the business development team. The firm will rely on this position to design and develop all business development products, including proposals and presentations.
Required Education and Experience
Bachelors Degree in a business related program with concentration in communication, marketing or related field.Knowledge of commercial construction and or technical degree would be a plus. Two to three years of related experience, a plus.
Software:
Adobe InDesign experience is a must!
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Writer/Pro, Frontpage, QuarkXpress, PhotoShop, and Illustrator.
Organizational Role
The Marketing Coordinator will work as a team with the Director of Pre-construction Services, Principals, Project Managers, Architects, Engineers and all other technical staff in updating and maintaining marketing operations as well as work to increase new business. The Marketing Coordinator will also coordinate corporate-wide marketing initiatives.
Skills:
Good communication skills (verbal and written)
Experience in public speaking and/or presentations
Active in community and civic organizations
Experienced in public relation activities
Familiar with elements of graphic design and production
Professional, out-going personality and capable of representing the company with a desirable image at official functions and other activities
Excellent organizational skills
Ability to produce under pressure and function in a multi-task environment.
