On the Import Services team, you can expect to work with as many as ten insurance carriers and clients, or groups, ranging in size from one member to as many as 2,000 members. The insurance carrier sends each Import Specialist their members data (SS#, address, dependents, coverage start date, medical, life and dental coverage needed, etc.) and the Data Import Analyst then loads this information into our software applications using both Oracle and proprietary software.

This individual will use analytical and problem solving skills to find and eliminate errors during and after each data load. Common errors may include: the number of dependents are incorrect, the coverage level selected does not match total number of dependents, the coverage effective date does not coincide with their start date, etc. Through the use of Oracle based tools and pre-written SQL queries, our Import team can search for errors and notify our Implementation Consultants of these errors before the client, or group, goes live in our software application.

Job Requirements

• BA/BS degree in Computer Science or other technical field preferred
• Previous work experience with SQL queries is helpful
• Knowledge of Oracle database systems
• Hands on experience creating reports and reformatting cells in Excel
• Previous work experience or Internship experience working with relational databases preferred
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• A team player with a CAN DO attitude
