Senior Programmer Analyst at Sumter

Job Description

In support of business needs, provides technology support to all Sumter associates. Plays key role in maintaining I.T. budget for the plant as well as developing longer-term I.T. solutions for the plant. As subject matter expert in I.T., responsibilities include analysis of business processes for process improvement and cost savings initiatives. Develop and support systems which utilize technologies including bar coding, Visual Basic and ASP using .NET, Oracle and SQL Server databases, and Crystal Reports. Work in conjunction with various North American I.T. teams to support enterprise development.Essential Functions:

1. Partners with plant business owners to develop real time solutions to improve and/or streamline business processes.

2. Develops business solutions using visual studio development tools.

3. Develops and administers SQL and Oracle databases for plant use.

4. Generates web base reporting using Crystal Reports and/or Dundas

5. Provides bar coding solutions to upgrade and improve current production

processes.

6. Responsible for web development by using HTML, CSS, Javascript, and

ASP.NET to enhance existing intranet.

7. Maintains and trouble shoots programs that provide information for the

effective management and control of plant operations. Assures that all

developments are ISO, FDA and 21 CFR Part 11 compliant.

8. Prepares documentation manuals for new systems and maintenance

documents as required.

9.This position is accountable for working with Sumter associates in all areas of

the business to support process improvement and cost savings initiatives.

10. Demonstrates agility in day-to-day support of multiple projects and critical

processes including 24/7 operations.

Job Requirements

Requires BS degree in Computer Science or related subject

Minimum of5 years utilizing Microsoft development products such as Visual Basic and ASP using .NET required.

Minimum of 5 years experience with Oracle and/or SQL Server database management and development required.

Minimum of 2 years Crystal Reports experience
