Java Middleware Developer at GREENVILLE

Job Description

In this role you will be responsible for building middleware services that allow our applications to communicate across multiple platforms

Top responsibilities for this position:
Fully responsible for WMB flow design. Assist with WMB migration to IIB 9

Software tools/skills needed to perform these daily responsibilities:
WMB, WMQ, DB2, JAVA, WebServices, WAS, CICS

Must have:
WMB,WMQ, DB2,JAVA
Undergraduate degree in applicable area or equivalent experience
Knowledge of SDLC
System Development Life Cycle experience
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills
Willingness to learn multiple technologies used within UHG
3.5 years Applications Development experience
2 years Object Oriented Design experience
2 years Messaging Experience (Prefer WMB)
Very strong OO design and development experience

Nice to have:
WebServices, WAS, CICS
CICS experience
CICS/COBOL Channels and container
Knowledge of COBOL Copybooks
SQL Experience
SOA implementation, technologies, and governance

What are the work hours?
8am to 5pm
Must provide on-call support for applications developed
