Job Description

Sodexo is seeking for Clinical Dietitian 2 for a 296 bed hospital in Charleston.
Responsible for providing:

• Basic and comprehensive nutrition assessments, educations and care planning for patients at Trident Medical Center
• Achieves Nutrition Support Competencies and Participates in Nutrition Support in area of

practice

• Implements business practices in order to uphold Sodexo and TMCs mission and values
• Provides nutrition in-services to medical staff and assists in research opportunities
• Contributes to account revenue or cost savings and operating profit contribution through the implementation of services
• • Maintains and develops client relationships and client satisfaction for nutrition assessments and care planning of patients
  • Participates in departmental, clinical, and other meetings related to areas of practice
  • Fulfills contractual obligations to the client to ensure account retention
  • Uses information technology to communicate, manage knowledge, and support decision making
  • Utilizes and participates in the development and /or revision of electronic medical records within the practice environment

Provides comprehensive nutrition assessments and care planning for patients/residents. Plans special diets and supervises their preparation. Instructs patients/residents and/or hospital personnel in principles of nutrition and modifications of normal diet. Performs routine care responsibilities without training and direction.

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelors Degree
Basic Functional Experience - 1 year work experience in health care including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted or independent living facilities, long-term care, retirement homes, or clinics + registered dietitian.
