Job Description
Security Finance Corporation is currently seeking a Training Manager for their location in Spartanburg, SC (relocation assistance will be provided). The Training Manager will be responsible for organizational development and training initiatives across the Company. The Training Manager will plan, develop, implement, and administer training and development needs across the business to help achieve operational and corporate objectives.
Responsibilities of the Training Manager:
- Supervise and direct all training staff in the research, planning, development, and implementation of Company training materials to enhance the performance of all employees in reaching the goals and objectives of the Company.
- Establish effective relationships with senior operations management as a means of identifying training deficiencies and/or opportunities.
- Anticipate development needs in connection with Company objectives/goals and initiatives and make recommendations for training solutions
- Ensure the documentation of employee participation in Company sponsored training and development programs and overall employee compliance with Company training objectives; identify and communicate results.
- Evaluate and develop a means of measuring the effectiveness of existing and proposed training programs and materials.
- Coordinate timely updates for training materials and reference guides.
- Develop contacts with outside training vendors; assist with preparing and administering such training programs.
- Keep abreast of new training techniques and developments by establishing and maintaining contacts with professional associations and organizations.
- Assist with training and preparing Regional Training Supervisors to succeed within the organization.
- Prompt and regular attendance is required
- Directs/Oversees the administration of the Learning Management System (Learn.com).
Requirements of the Training Manager:
- Bachelors degree preferred in HR or Education/Training
- 3-5 years of developing and delivering technical and leadership development training through classroom, technical and computer based instruction
- Must be able to analyze needs and resources and to recommend and communicate solutions effectively.
- Proven success with public speaking and moderating large groups.
- Ability to plan and manage multiple projects
- Ability to travel
- Superior organizational and multi-tasking capabilities
- Work collaboratively with people at all levels of the organization possess indirect influencing skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
