Job Description

Job Classification: Contract Looking for someone with 5+ years of experience as a microbiologist in either Pharmaceuticals or the food production industry.Requirements include:- Responsible for Environmental monitoring (total air particulate, viable air and surfaces) of the plant controlled work zones.- Performs sterility testing of finished product solution samples.- Determines the bio burden level of incoming raw materials, components and in-process solutions.- Identifies genus and species of isolates recovered from critical areas and from in-process solution samples.- Responsible for cultures and biological indicator solutions used for plant validation and product development studies.- Performs bacterial endotoxin testing of raw materials and solutions- Collects and tests samples as required for bioburden, bacterial endotoxins and/or particulate matter.- Responsible for documentation and reporting for all microbiological tests- Responsible for collecting air samples, surface samples, and samples from manufacturing Join Aerotek Scientific®LLC, one of the fastest growing providers of scientific and clinical research services in the nation.
