Addressing Sustainability issues and incorporating solutions through all levels of Kimberly-Clark is a critical component of our business.Process Engineer position providing process support for improvement efforts on Line 6-11 in Beech Island UCTAD Converting.Accountabilities:1. Initiate and support the design, development and optimization of Rolled Products converting and manufacturing equipment and processes to meet unit objectives. This may include working with Staff, Mill, and Vendor resources as needed. This may be driving specific capital projects in a traditional role and/or participating in vendor joint developments agreements.2. Initiate, design and develop manufacturing and supporting processes and applies project tools (Gantt Charts, Project management practices, Cost Tracking, Capital systems, SAP, etc.).3. Provide technical guidance for resolution of problems for multiple forms of processes and equipment.4. Apply engineering principles and help create standards and procedures.5. Document work to ensure information preserved and protected per KC standards, prepares trial related documentation for DOE; writes Technical Letter (TL) and Technical Report (TR), develops Technical Check Out (TCO) for multiple unit operation.6. Manage a portion of a project budget or a department budget.7. Provide functional guidance during interface with suppliers and service providers.8. Communicate project deliverables and expectations effectively to project team members, department heads, operations and maintenance crews to achieve desired project outcomes.9. Continued demonstration and growth in One K-C Behaviors with full contribution in one or more engineering disciplines.10. Carry out all work ensuring effective Safety and Quality attitudes and practices.Qualifications:1. Position requires a bachelors or advanced engineering (Chemical Engineering or Paper Science/Engineering) or relevant scientific discipline degree/ equivalent experience, continuing self-development and 3-10 years? relevant engineering experience in a variety of assignments. Should have a record of demonstrated leadership in achieving results.Additional Preferred Qualifications:1. 3+ years of experience in a variety of plant and staff technical assignments, including maintenance and operations.2. Experience and expertise in Family Care Tissue Manufacturing and/ or Converting Machninery.3. Rolled products high speed converting experience with production of Through-Dried low density toilet paper and towel products.
