Citrix Systems Engineer

Currently seeking Systems Engineers to install, configure and upgrade Citrix XenApp, XenDesktop, XenServer, NetScaler, VMware, Microsoft MDOP and Hyper-V as well as other Virtualization solutions for a variety of customers. The successful candidate will have solid experience with virtualization technologies in an enterprise-level Windows environment.

Roles and responsibilities

- Design, implement and administer Citrix, VMware, and Microsoft virtualization solutions.

- Monitor the technical operation, specifications, and administration of application, desktop, and server farms.

- Support installation upgrades by installing service packs, and resolving service requests.

- Provide necessary documentation to customers during and after project implementations.

- Provide knowledge transfer to customers at the completion of projects.

Required Experience

- Five to six years system administration or systems engineering experience including a minimum of three years of recent relevant experience.

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information systems, Engineering or equivalent work experience.

Required Skills

- Must have experience implementing Citrix Presentation Server/XenApp 4.0, 5.0 or 6.0.

- Must have experience implementing applications on a Citrix server.

- Extensive experience with installation, configuration, management, and troubleshooting on a large Citrix server farm.

- In-depth knowledge of Citrix XenApp, XenDesktop, XenServer, Access Gateway and NetScaler.

- Experience performing Windows 2003 or 2008 server builds.

- Experience in deploying Microsoft MDOP components for desktop deployments.

- Knowledgeable and experienced in synchronizing applications using Microsofts App-V technology.

- Certifications preferred - CCEE, CCEA, CCA, MCITP, MCSE, MCSA, MCTS, VCP
