Tool & Fixture Specialist C at Charleston

Volt Technical Resources may have a job for you! A leading aircraft manufacturer is seeking a skilled Tool & Fixture Specialist C.
Job tasks include but not limited to the following:

Performs complex tool setup activities (e.g., alignment, leveling)

Performs and documents visual inspections

Use various manual and computer controlled machines, hand tools and precision alignment equipment

Volt is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).  RequirementsThe ideal candidate will have the ability to demonstrate the functionality of complex fabrication and assembly tools to approving authority by manufacturing first part with new tool. Resolves problems with tool to produce acceptable parts and assemblies.

Experience running general machine shop equipment such as a manual lathe, milling machine and band saws. Ability to use precision measuring equipment such as a vernier caliper, micrometer and scale. Experience reading engineering drawings.

Duration: 180 - 365 Days

Pay Rate: $23.00 - $23.00 Hourly DOE
