Sodexo has an opportunity for an experienced Registered Clinical Dietitian at an acute care facility in Florence, SC at Carolinas Hospital System.

Inpatient & outpatient service lines include Cardiovascular, Oncology, Orthopedics and Renal services. Facility has 36 ICU beds and the ideal candidate for this position will have experience in parenteral nutrition and nutrition services in critical care units.

Florence is a city of approximately 100,000 people, located 70 miles from Myrtle Beach, SC, 80 miles from Columbia, SC & 100 miles from Charleston, SC at the junction of I-20 & I-95.

The ideal candidate will be highly motivated with a minimum of 1 to 2 years work experience as an RD in a health-care setting. This position will work with the clinical team to provide nutrition care.

The ideal candidate will:

• Works with Acute Inpatient Rehab unit and Inpatient Acute Care units
• Be a self-starter, a team player, and possess good time management skills.
• Be able to work well with physicians, nursing, and ancillary staff.
• Familiarity with room service meal programs is desirable.
• Familiarity with McKesson medical records is a plus.
• Licensure is required.

Provides comprehensive nutrition assessments and care planning for patients/residents. Plans special diets and supervises their preparation. Instructs patients/residents and/or hospital personnel in principles of nutrition and modifications of normal diet. Performs routine care responsibilities without training and direction.

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelors Degree

Basic Functional Experience - 1 year work experience in health care including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted or independent living facilities, long-term care, retirement homes, or clinics + registered dietitian.
