Functions as initial contact point for customer for all questions related to projects, production status, quality.
Flawless information of all departments within the organization about customer requirements and problems.

Main duties, responsibilities and competencies:

Preparation and permanent update of presentation material for customer.
2
Maintain contact with key personnel at customer, identify decision makers at customer
3
Responsible for receiving of RfQs and preparation of quotations through coordination of activities with all related departments.
4
Preparation of sales budget for all projects and potential projects with customer.
5
Transfer of customer requests to the individual departments within the organization and feedback of information to the customer.
6
Participation in APQP Process to represent customer needs.
7
Assure compliance with approved methods and quality standards.
8
Establish and maintain a positive community relationship.
9
Act as potential customer contact point for all customer requests.

Continuous follow-up with production and materials department on actual projects and production schedules

Actively monitor and support any customer complaints and the resolution of them.

Information of Management about tendencies and strategies at the customer.
13
Support Program Manager or Quality personnel at meetings with customer.
14
In certain projects also involvement in vendor decision to ensure customer requirements.
15
Coordinate activities with European counterpart.

Provide technical customer support.

Profile of Employee
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering with fundamental knowledge in the commercial and technical area.
- Knowledge in automotive and industrial components
- Experience in the technical and commercial coordination of projects
- Experience in customer relations, especially in the automotive industry
- Knowledge in the production methods machining, casting, forging, inspection
- 3+ years experience in the automotive industry and the technical and quality requirements.
- Must have valid drivers license.
- German language skills a plus (written and oral)
- Metric drawing reading skills required.
- Degree in Business Administration a plus.
