ESH Auditor - Experienced Compliance Engineer at Goose Creek

The Environmental, Safety and Health (ESH) Auditor develops and performs audits, evaluations, and surveillances of the various ESH control requirements and production work as identified by applicale Navy and NPTU Charleston instructions. This Auditor will be required to perform field surveillances of production work in process. The ESH Auditor will issue reports that document findings from audits, evaluations, and surveillances; and trend the findings to assess organizational strengths and weaknesses. This Auditor will also evaluate the effectiveness of processes, will participate in a self assessment program, and will provide training to fellow Auditors. This Auditor will interface with personnel on all levels of the organization from the production workforce through senior management. Good technical writing and excellent communication skills are required. This Auditor must be able to thoughtfully and confidently communicate problems to senior management. This Auditor may perioically be required to work alternate shifts to perform the required duties. Since some audits and surveillances will be performed in radiological areas, maintaining Radiological qualifications are required. In addition to maintaining a radiation worker qualification, this Auditor will have to complete a separate Auditor qualification program.
