 DIRECTOR OF NURSING / DON / REGISTERED NURSE / RN

The Director of Nursing (DON) shall be a Registered Nurse who is responsible for the overall direction of home health clinical services.  The DON will have overall responsibility for the quality, adequacy of services provided and supervision of staff.  The DON establishes, implements and evaluates goals and objectives for home health services that meet and promote the standards of quality.

Job Requirements

 

 

Director of Nursing / DON / Registered Nurse / RN

DON / RN EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• South Carolina State Licensure
• Bachelors Degree
• Minimum 5 Years Experience in the Healthcare Industry
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of direct employee supervision.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise and direct staff.
• Proven ability to build quality and implement improvements within the operation.
• Case management skills are a plus
• Policy development is a plus
• Ability to travel on a daily basis including weekends, nights and holidays
